I’m on my stomach with my weight on my aching arms, the bones must have been replaced by layer upon layer of dreams. the windows are open, a faint hum is making its way through the screen, and it feels like summer. we stood in a line together, secretly mocking the crowd we were in. orange wristbands around our right arms, we headed straight toward the back, the robot video games. Hours...
i want to create. i want to help someone. i want my name to be uttered somewhere else in the world, by someone who doesn’t know me personally. i want to be tall, or at least tall in personality. i want to fill notebooks with ink, and leave them wherever i go. i want to spray paint over negative graffiti.
Dark was the sky which contained a shimmering rhinestone here and there. Young hands held matches cautiously, eager faces looked on. Dozens of cardboard encased worlds dissipated before our wide eyes. Sparks teased our minds as the wind tousled our hair. i reached up to remove my 3d glasses, but found your hand instead.
